This is the sibling project to Hides a commission from 2016, see past projects. Nest continues to explore migration creating nests in rural and urban settings speaking about journeying in a world of climate change and the search to be settled. The effects of continual change and treacherous travelling, the need for sanctuary, safety and comfort. This project has begun with the first nest being designed and created. The intention is to create a UK wide network where people can get involved and take ownership, becoming guardians of the nest and bring their lived experiences of migration and home to these resting places.
There is a short film of the making of nest over in Films.

There are different ways that you can become a part of the network. The project needs Commissioners to help fund it. Land to place it. People interested in nature, wanting to get involved.
